The immediate region includes universities in Aachen (DE), Liège (BE) and Maastricht, complemented by the Open University (one of the world’s largest e-learning facilities), the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences , the Maastricht University Medical Center (MUMC+) and HAS University of Applied Sciences (the best educational and expertise Center in the southern Netherlands for the agri-food and environment sectors). We also work in close cooperation with the Corda Campus in Hasselt (BE) and RWTH in Aachen (DE)

Financial partners

In Limburg as well as the adjacent regions of Germany and Belgium, there are numerous opportunities for financial support. Of course there is LIOF, the regional development agency of Limburg, and in Belgium (Hasselt) we have the investment company LRM and in Germany (Düsseldorf) the NRW Bank.

They all develop and stimulate economic growth in Limburg and work closely with private investors, and have access to national and European programs that offer financial support.
